I follow the Carp like they are my own children. Actually, I'm divorced and only see my kids half the time, so I guess you could say I follow the Carp more than I follow my own children. You may hate me for that, but I don't really give a shit. What I do give a shit about is what in the holy hell are the Carp doing cutting Cam Smith? Not even a draft pick? Just a flat cut? Gross fucking negligence.

I don't wear rose colored glasses; I wear Carp colored glasses; I want them to win. And though Cam Smith has sucked, it seems moronic to not account for his 23 years of youth and to not think that he can adjust his bat path and become an All-Star. You just gave him away to those bastards over in Caw Valley. And you took the salary hit on the three-year deal you idiots signed him to in the off-season. One shit turn deserves another.

Our owners are nuts though. They do move with a certain swift brutality that hopefully matters when we're competitive, but for now I think they're fucking nuts to walk away from Cam Smith, and to do so because they needed a roster spot to activate --checks notes-- Kyle Fucking Karros? Fuck me.

This one is going to go down as one of those moves when Cam turns into a 30/20 monster and Kyle Karros has his .256 AVG with 11 HR AT COORS FIELD!
